The “official” bio
Katherine Barger is an award-winning author of young adult fiction who writes stories about faith in a world where faith is challenged. When she’s not busy wrangling kids, she’s writing, editing, eating Mexican food, or snuggling with one of her family’s three rescue pets: Elsa, Jasmine, or Nala. Katherine and her forever-forbearing husband live in Texas with their three children.
The other bio

I’m a wife and mom who loves playing pretend and doing all things silly with my three kiddos.
I’m one of Madeleine L’Engle’s biggest fans. I have every intention of one day living somewhere with a star-watching rock, and I’ll sit and ponder the universe with a black snake whilst waiting for Mrs. Whatsit to sweep me into adventure.
That’s ridiculous. I hate snakes.
I’ll ponder the universe with a dog.
Sometimes, I stand in front of my closet and wonder if maybe, just maybe, I’ll walk into Narnia when I open the door.
I love Jesus.
I love stories from the Old Testament.
Which is where I got the idea for my award-winning YA series!
